Trailer Rental Requirements

To rent a trailer, the following requirements must be met:

Required Documentation

Valid Driver’s License
• Current, government-issued
• Name must match the rental agreement

Valid Auto Insurance
• Active insurance policy
• Proof of insurance required at pickup

Tow Vehicle Requirements

Your vehicle must be properly rated and equipped to tow this trailer safely.

Towing Capacity
• Vehicle must be rated to handle the trailer’s GVWR and intended load

Hitch Receiver
• Properly installed and weight-rated receiver (Class III, IV, or V as required)

Correct Ball Size
• Must exactly match the trailer coupler size

7-Pin Electrical Connection
• Required for lights and electric brake system

Brake Controller
• Installed and fully operational (required for electric brakes)

Required Equipment

Renter must provide:

• Properly rated hitch ball and mount
• Safety pin/clip for hitch
• Securely mounted receiver
• Fully functioning lights and wiring connection
